The original ship was of course the m.v. Fredericia although she only spent a little bit of time in the Thames Estuary, before sailing off to become Radio Caroline North. She was somewhat antiquated even in 1964, but what a lovely looking ship!

Here are some assorted pictures of the Ross Revenge, including some as a trawler. I am still somewhat in awe of her massive size. She is also one of the very few ships to have survived grounding on the notorious Goodwin Sands!

Over the years the Mi Amigo changed quite considerably, the colour, mast and of course her condition. I particularly like the shot of her in heavy weather and like the true lady she was, she always rode it majestically!
